According to “Sky Sport,” AC Milan has made the first official offer for Youssouf Fofana, a midfielder owned by Monaco and part of the French national team.
The Rossoneri have put 17 million euros on the table, thanks to the player’s willingness, who aims to arrive in Italy to wear the “Devil’s” jersey. In recent hours, other English clubs have joined, but they do not play in Europe. However, Monaco is asking for 35 million, a very high demand for someone who has recently entered the last year of their contract. Further contacts and likely new official proposals are expected, as the gap is currently still significant.
Fofana began his career in the youth team of Drancy before moving to Strasbourg. With Strasbourg, he played in both the reserve team and the first team, gaining experience in Ligue 1. In January 2020, he was bought by Monaco, where he continued to develop and emerged as one of the most promising midfielders in Ligue 1.
In the 2023/24 season, Youssouf Fofana played 35 matches for Monaco, scoring 4 goals and making a significant contribution both defensively and offensively: as is known, the player is now on vacation after participating in the European Championship with Deschamps.
