Jose Mourinho could complete what many Fenerbahce fans are calling the ‘best team ever’ with the signing of a Premier League star.
Mourinho returned to coaching by taking charge of the tenth club in his career, after signing a two-year contract with the possibility of extending it for another year with the Turkish giant Fenerbahce.
He wasted no time and immediately started strengthening the team, bringing in names like Allan Saint-Maximin, Caglar Soyuncu, Cenk Tosun, and Youssef En-Nesyri.
It has been quite a fiery transfer window for Fenerbahce, and now fans think that just one more signing could complete the team.
Mourinho wants a defensive midfielder, but he was unsuccessful in his attempt to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, as the Dane chose Marseille. According to reports in Turkey, Fenerbahce is now focused on midfielder Ibrahim Sangare, who plays for Nottingham Forest, and sporting director Mario Branco will travel to England to discuss a possible deal.
Forest paid 30 million euros to sign Sangare from PSV, but he has started in only 13 Premier League matches.
