The 34-year-old has chosen Besiktas with the objective of leading the Black and Whites from Istanbul towards winning the championship title in the Turkish Super League.

Besiktas is the third team with the most titles in Turkey. The “Black Eagles” have been crowned champions 21 times, most recently in 2021.
