Barcelona coach, Xavi Hernandez, in a media conference one day before the duel with Real Madrid, said that this match is the most important for the Catalans.
Real Madrid and Barcelona face each other on Sunday night at the ‘Bernabeu’ as part of La Liga. Barcelona is currently eight points behind Madrid with seven matches remaining in this season in the Spanish football elite.
“For us, it’s the most important match of the season. We are facing a very strong team, even more so after they eliminated City, and I see Real even stronger as they come in a very good moment psychologically. We need to translate that anger and disappointment from the Champions League into a high-level performance in ‘El Clasico’,” said the Spanish coach.
The match between Real and Barça starts at 21:00.
