Dinamo Zagreb dreams of Modrić’s return

Dinamo Zagreb is making extreme efforts to convince Luka Modrić to return to Croatia.

Dinamo published a page in Saturday’s edition of the Spanish medium Marca to urge Modrić to join the Croatian club this summer.

They also referenced this in a post on X, formerly Twitter, as they stepped up their efforts to sign the 38-year-old.

Modrić’s contract with Real Madrid expires this summer and his minutes have been limited this season, playing only 12 times in La Liga so far.

The midfielder began his career in Zagreb before signing for Tottenham in 2008, so a move makes sense as a possible option.

Whether this will happen remains to be seen.

Modrić, who joined Real Madrid in 2012, has made 522 appearances for the Spanish giants so far.
