Initially, Gallagher put the hosts ahead, only for Cole Palmer to double the lead later on.
Garnacho narrowed the lead to 2-1 in the 34th minute, while five minutes later, Bruno Fernandes equalized the score.
United took the lead again in the 67th minute when Garnacho scored.
And Cole Palmer scored two goals in a minute in stoppage time to give his team the victory.
With this win, Chelsea rises to 43 points in 10th place, while Manchester United remains sixth with 48 points accumulated.
