Barcelona’s director, Deco, is reported to have met with Manchester United’s sporting director, John Murtough, and negotiation director Matt Hargreaves.
The trio were spotted in Barcelona city along with two agents, Frank Trimboli and Federico Massai.
Diario Sport reports that the discussion topic might have been the potential transfer of Mason Greenwood to the Catalan giant. Manchester United are willing to listen to offers for Greenwood even though a final decision on his future has not yet been made.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe had stated that a new decision would be made regarding Greenwood, who hasn’t played for United since facing allegations of assault against his girlfriend in January 2022.
Greenwood has excelled this season for Getafe since his loan move to La Liga from the Red Devils. He has been one of the key players for the Madrid team alongside Borja Mayoral, tallying eight goals and five assists from the right flank so far this season.
