Rajeshri Senapati Gogoi, is an Indian Poet, writer, Translator. She is working in Dibrugarh University as an Upper division Assistant in the Office of the Stastician. She is a resident of Assam, Dibrugarh. She is a moderator and Admin of some literary groups in internationally. She has already published 3 three books in Assamese. She is translating one Scared Epic Bhagawad Geeta for last few year’s. She had got several Awards in Assam, India. Now, she has been translating internationally the poems from English to Assamese. She is been appointed as an Ambassador in IFCH for contribution of equality through literature.

Woman, you are the river
It’s as cool as a river.
Like a river in the world
Is there anyone else?
Strong all-rounder!
You are flowing silently.
This is the river in Vasundhara
Washes away all the debris
Where is the hope in your heart?
Quietly obstacles, just like that
Women in the midst of suffering
Finding the feeling of happiness
Woman, you are the mother, you are the creation
Compassionate, huge hearted
You are the middle of a thousand sorrows
Distribute to everyone without limitation
A smile of intense happiness
Does the river have limits?
The river just flows, flows
at a simple pace
where there is no name to stop
Woman you are unique, you are strength
The creation of nature, of a divine quality
The second center, deep as the sea,
Coolness like the moon
flows at a constant pace
All these are divine qualities
There is only among women
Woman, you are the river
You are the mother!
