Kanye West clarified the whole situation hinted at during the Super Bowl that he was forced to leave his seat because he was in front of Taylor Swift.
According to an explanation on his Instagram profile, the truth is that the departure happened because he wanted to meet some friends who were seated elsewhere and no one asked him to leave his seat.
And as a more elaborate response to Swift’s fans, he explained that he doesn’t consider them “enemies”, but he doesn’t like them as “friends” either.
“Just so you know, I’ve done more good than harm to Taylor Swift’s career,” he further reasoned. The rapper faced many comments on X (formerly Twitter) from Taylor’s fans who often refer negatively to him because of the early debates and animosities he had with the singer.
The issues between Taylor and Kanye started in 2016 when the rapper mentioned her in the song “Famous” saying in the lyrics that “he could have sex with Taylor” because he made her famous.
Later, Taylor revealed that she never allowed him to use her name in the song’s lyrics. The debate only deteriorated with discussions and edited recordings for the authenticity of this news and then with scandals across the world’s biggest stages. Not for nothing wherever they are together there are always discussions and something is expected to happen.
