Mohamed Rahal should register the popular folk poetry through UNESCO because it is one of the origins of the national culture
The poet and comprehensive researcher in popular heritage, Mohamed Rahal, contributed to the importance of Algerian popular poetry, especially after the latter’s role in expressing national and international United Nations issues, such as the Palestinian issue.
He explained in his speech after his participation in the Eighth International Forum for Popular Poetry on December 17, 18 and 19, which was organized by the Poetry Society for Popular Literature, that Algerian popular poetry is capable of supporting liberation issues. Because, on the one hand, its heritage is considered to be experimental in national identities, and on the other hand, popular poetry is the original art of opinion that has reached the world level, and it is an Algerian hundred celebrities, and it was registered in UNESCO months ago.
Considering Algerian folk poetry is the first pioneer in the Arab world, this is achieved through international and national festivals from the Ministry
Culture, including a national festival for Bedouin song and a popular poetry festival in the state of Tissemsilt, a national festival for the ajadiya of popular poetry, the Malhoun, in the state of Djelfa, an international cultural festival for books, literature, and poetry in the state of Ouargla, and a national cultural festival, the Malhoun, in the state of Mostaganem, in contrast to the festivals held in the East by Al-Jazairi and Ali. Penetrating national and international forums and international competitions held by national entities, such as the Algerian contribution to national culture and arts, and taking the names of its figures as titles of national competitions, such as Emir Abdelkader and Sidi Lakhdar Ben Khalouf.
The entry of popular poetry into all cultural projects at the international and global levels must be registered as an Algerian human heritage and a great cultural heritage, such as inheritance, known as the youth heritage, which was registered in 2014, and this is what the technical specialists and doctors would like to work on in the future.
