SINCE MY CHILDHOOD…
I’ve been romantic
since my childhood days…
I used to eat
only those pieces of chalk
that my
sweet ma’am
threw at me
in order to draw
my attention
towards my failing attention
at
the blackboard!
CINQUAIN…
Love is
never shallow
I knew this fact after
being sunk into her marine
blue eyes…
MY REWARD
Her lips are as soft as the petals of a scented flower,
Nostalgia of her cute smile has invaded my slumber.
She has given me her heart along with a love card,
Nothing else I wish from my fate, I got my reward.
Since I received it from her I’m on cloud seven,
To me, our earth looks far prettier than heaven.
I wish to take her with me on horseback in the sky,
Beyond the planets, galaxies and the stars so high.
I long to recite love duets in free falling snowflakes,
Loitering with her around the mountains and lakes.
