Paris Saint-Germain is said to have offered Kylian Mbappe a new contract worth 100 million euros per year, solely to convince him to reject a move to Real Madrid.
The French superstar can negotiate with other clubs since January 1 of this year, as he entered the final six months of his contract with PSG. Speculation in France earlier this month suggested that Mbappe has agreed to join Real next season, 18 months after refusing to move to La Liga just to stay at Parc des Princes.
However, according to “AfterFoot RMC,” PSG is willing to make Mbappe one of the highest-paid athletes on the planet to ensure his stay at the club. The French media states that Mbappe has an offer on the table from PSG, surpassing the sum of 100 million euros per season.
French journalist Daniel Riolo described this deal as something that no other club can match from a financial perspective.
