Louis Saha has urged his former teammate in France, Karim Benzema, to join Manchester United and solve their goal-scoring problems.
Benzema has come under criticism for his performances with Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League.
Saha, who played for United in the past, said that the Frenchman would adapt well to the English club, as they precisely need a player of his profile. “Benzema would change United’s attack, and that’s exactly what they need,” Saha told Diario AS.
“He would score goals and ensure better team play. It’s currently just a dream, but Karim is still very professional,” concluded the Frenchman.
At the age of 36, Benzema is one of the top strikers currently, but considering his age, he might not be the right person to start a new era of goal-scoring at United.
