Jose Mourinho seems to have sent a harsh message to Renato Sanches, whom he substituted just 18 minutes after including him in the game. Roma suffered a defeat on Sunday in their away match against Bologna with a score of 0-2, in the 16th round of Serie A.
A notable incident with Sanches caught attention from this match.
The Portuguese coach brought the midfielder in as a substitute in the second half but replaced him with Edoardo Bove after only 18 minutes. Sanches, who is owned by Paris Saint-Germain and loaned to Roma, appeared bewildered by the situation.
Nevertheless, he left the field towards the bench, but Mourinho and his staff didn’t throw a glance, let alone an explanation.
