Weather expected to complicate the Milan derby

Inter–Milan, scheduled to take place on November 23 at 20:45, may be played in full winter conditions.

According to the latest meteorological reports for the weekend, the first snowflakes are expected to fall in Milan after 19:00 on Sunday, as a result of a significant drop in temperatures already felt both in the city and surrounding areas.

This situation recalls the derby of February 24, 2013, when snow had covered the city for several consecutive days and stopped only a few hours before kickoff.

That match ended 1–1, with one goal for each team: Stephan El Shaarawy for Milan and Ezequiel Schelotto for Inter.

Although a high-tempo and intense battle is expected on the pitch, the stands may experience a “colder” atmosphere, dictated by the difficult weather conditions.
