Manchester United has returned to winning ways after a long time.
The team, led by coach Erik ten Hag, defeated Brentford 2-1 on Saturday in the eighth round of the Premier League.
United had not won in the previous five matches across all competitions.
The goals for United were scored by Alejandro Garnacho in the 47th minute and Rasmus Højlund in the 62nd minute. For Højlund, it was his first goal this season in the Premier League. Ethan Pinnock scored Brentford’s only goal in the fifth minute of added time in the first half.
United now has 11 points, while Brentford has one point less.
