Striker Endrick has become one of the most in-form players in Ligue 1 since joining Olympique Lyonnais on loan from Real Madrid in January.
The Brazilian forward has recorded five goals and one assist in just six official appearances, including a hat-trick against FC Metz, earning him the Ligue 1 “Player of the Month” award for January.
Endrick has adapted quickly to the intensity of the French league, standing out for his technical ability, speed, and goal threat, while helping Lyon climb the league table during this short period. In an interview with Telefoot, the young talent revealed the key role played by his teammates at Real Madrid in his decision to move to France.

“Kylian Mbappé and Eduardo Camavinga told me that Ligue 1 was a good and very aggressive league. They truly advised me to join Lyon, because it is a big club. I thank them for their good advice.”
The young star emphasized that he is very happy with his choice, adding that he has been enjoying his adventure in France more than a month and a half after the transfer.
Endrick’s impressive form has not gone unnoticed in Madrid, with reports suggesting that Real now see him as an important part of their long-term plans and intend to bring him back to the first team next season.
Meanwhile, Lyon are expected to push for an extension of the loan in order to keep the striker beyond its current expiration at the end of the season.
