23,000 fans will fill the stands for the first team’s training session, officially marking the reopening of Barcelona’s iconic stadium, writes Gazeta Express.
The old Camp Nou closed its doors after a 3–0 victory over Mallorca to begin its long-awaited transformation into the new Spotify Camp Nou — a modern, functional stadium designed to be the best of its era, just as the original Camp Nou was for decades, especially after its construction in 1982.
After 894 days, the home of Barcelona fans will once again open its doors to the public — this time for an open training session.
Although it will only be partially accessible, this moment will be highly emotional for everyone, both fans and players, who have been absent from the club’s iconic stadium.
The session will start at 11:00 local time and is expected to last between 45 and 60 minutes, reports “Mundodeportivo.”
