Summary of the 2026 Inaugural Fu Lei Former Residence Anna Keiko “Poetry and Beyond” Poetry Exhibition Series

On March 22, 2026, the inaugural Fu Lei Former Residence Anna Keiko “Poetry and Beyond” Poetry Exhibition concluded successfully at the Fu Lei Former Residence in Zhoupu Town, Pudong New District

. Lasting one and a half months, the exhibition attracted hundreds of visitors, paying tribute to the spirit of Fu Lei through poetry and achieving fruitful results. I. Opening: Simple Yet Profound On February 10, the exhibition quietly opened at the Fu Lei Former Residence without ceremony or fanfare, beginning its poetic journey with simplicity

. Chief Planner Guo Nankai and over ten guests attended the opening, with more than a dozen local residents visiting spontaneously that day. The centerpiece of the exhibition was scheduled as the “Lixi Lantern Festival Poetry Gathering.” During the preparatory period, renowned Chinese poets Guo Yuefang and Zhao Lihong, along with international poets from several countries, sent video congratulations. II. Lantern Festival Poetry Gathering: Poetry Enriches the Festival, Emotion Fills Lixi On the afternoon of March 1, the “Lixi Lantern Festival Poetry Gathering” was held at the Zhoupu Cultural Center, attended by nearly a hundred poetry enthusiasts.

Notable guests included Qian Wenliang, Yang Binhua, Cao Xiaohang, Rui Xiao, and Zhai Yuxi with his wife. The event opened with a performance by the parent-child language arts group of Fulei Primary School. Anna Keiko shared her life philosophy and donated a signed poetry collection to the Fu Lei Former Residence. The recitation segment featured both classic and original works, and calligraphy works of congratulatory poems by Xue Xixiang and Huang Yazhou were unveiled.

An initiative to establish the “Lixi Poetry Society” was announced during the gathering. III. Activities During the Exhibition Period The exhibition also featured a poetry reading session organized by the Shuyuan Poetry Society involving 40 participants, along with four small-scale group poetry readings. Li Shuxi, former Vice President of the Chinese Poetry Society, visited by appointment and exchanged signed poetry collections with Anna Keiko. IV. Closing Tea Gathering: Reflecting and Looking Ahead On March 21, a “Tea Gathering Poetry Session” was held at the Fu Lei Former Residence, where dozens of poets and volunteers gathered to review achievements and areas for improvement

. Guo Nankai emphasized the importance of trying and implementing ideas, noting that valuable lessons would be used to advance the development of the Lixi Poetry Society. Anna Keiko shared her creative journey and her persistence in reaching an international audience. Guo Nankai concluded with a message: “May the beauty of poetry nourish our souls, unite people’s hearts, and help us build a poetic homeland together.” V.
