Galatasaray has announced a meeting with Lionel Messi during a live broadcast! This news was revealed after Galatasaray’s 4–0 victory over Kayserispor, when well-known Turkish commentator Levent Tüzemen made a bombshell statement about the possibility of the Argentine superstar joining the Istanbul club, reports Gazeta Express.
According to Tüzemen, Messi has given the Istanbul giants the “green light” for a special project that would last four months and include 12 matches, but with one condition only — the Argentine star would play exclusively in Istanbul and would not travel for away matches.
The commentator also said that club officials have confirmed this information, adding that Messi is seriously considering this option in order to better prepare for the 2026 World Cup.
Furthermore, according to this statement, Messi has also turned down an offer from the Saudi club Al Hilal.
If this transfer is completed, it is said that around one million fans would go to the airport to welcome Messi.
