Secret evacuation to Russia? Mojtaba Khamenei reportedly undergoes surgery in Moscow, transported with Putin’s help

Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is reportedly being urgently transported to Moscow for medical treatment after injuries sustained in an airstrike.

According to reports by the Daily Mail, the 56-year-old, who assumed leadership of Iran after the death of his father Ali Khamenei on February 28, was in serious condition and was even reported to be in a coma at Sina University Hospital in Tehran.

The airstrike, according to media reports, targeted the country’s top leadership and was attributed to U.S. and Israeli forces. The injuries he reportedly sustained to his leg are said to have forced his transfer abroad for urgent surgical intervention. According to the same sources, the operation was carried out in Russia and was organized with direct support from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Meanwhile, the agency Al‑Jarida reports that the evacuation operation was secretly planned and that Khamenei was transported to Moscow on a Russian military aircraft. After arriving, he was reportedly taken to one of Putin’s presidential residences, where he underwent surgery that, according to the reports, was successful.

However, so far there has been no official confirmation from Iranian or Russian authorities regarding these reports, while media sources claim the information comes from individuals close to the Iranian leadership.
