Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has made the signing of Manchester City star Erling Haaland a top priority for the summer of 2026.
Real Madrid is currently going through a sporting crisis, while the club’s board has begun working to identify the problem and strengthen the squad for next season.
According to reports by reliable journalist Florian Plettenberg, the main desire and primary target is none other than Haaland, who continues to shine at Manchester City.

Based on these reports, Perez sees the Norwegian striker as the “savior” of Real Madrid; however, he is fully aware that such a transfer will not be easy to complete. Haaland has a long-term contract with City, and any potential deal would undoubtedly exceed the €150 million mark.
However, the positive news for the Spanish giants is that Haaland would not reject a move to the “Santiago Bernabéu”, as he views Real Madrid as his dream club and is a huge admirer of Spanish football.
It remains to be seen whether such a transfer will materialize, which would undoubtedly mark the beginning of a new Galácticos era at the biggest club in the world.
