Real Madrid recorded a hard-fought victory away at Villarreal in the 21st round of La Liga. Los Blancos triumphed with a 0–2 win in a match that was evenly balanced from the start.
Villarreal began the game strongly, creating danger through Buchanan, but Thibaut Courtois denied him with an excellent save.
