YOU AND THE AUTUMN
The Autumn knocks and you appear,
Leaves of the poplar and your hair.
With breasts and lips in vineyards, dear,
And the Moon’s brow cradles in glare.
As you appear from a long distance,
I can’t recall when we first met.
But I do know that persistence,
When boys-and-girls kiss in fret.
So you appear, for you’re a vision,
A golden image, age of the Spring.
Although the Autumn’s injuring decisions
Undress the trees with combs of the wind.
