Barcelona midfielder Pedri has revealed that the Real Madrid player he would most like to see at the Catalan club is Kylian Mbappé.
The Spanish star also jokingly admitted that he would find it very difficult to face the Frenchman or Vinícius Júnior in a speed duel.
Speaking on the Spanish TV show El Hormiguero, alongside teammate Ferran Torres, Pedri was asked which Real Madrid footballer he would sign for Barcelona if he had the chance. Without hesitation, he turned to Ferran Torres and they both immediately agreed: “Yes, Mbappé.”
When asked further which opponent he would least like to face in a sprint race, the 21-year-old once again mentioned the same names.
“A player I wouldn’t like to face in a speed duel? Almost everyone — I’m a bit slow,” he said laughing. “Mbappé, Vinícius.”
