Palmer Wants to Leave Chelsea, Three Possible Destinations Revealed

Cole Palmer is reportedly pushing for a move away from Chelsea FC this summer, according to a sensational report from England.

Speculation about his future has been ongoing for months, with claims that he is not fully settled in London and wants to return to Manchester.

His season has been affected by injuries, but he has still managed to make 20 appearances in the Premier League, scoring nine goals.

Ahead of the summer, Palmer could also face direct competition with his former Manchester City teammate Phil Foden for a place in the England squad for the World Cup.

According to The Sun, a “frustrated” Palmer could end up on the red side of Manchester before the tournament begins in June, as Manchester United are interested in signing him.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also mentioned as possible destinations for the 23-year-old.

If he were to move to Madrid, he would join an increasingly English core alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jude Bellingham.

At the same time, Bayern Munich have recently been active in the Premier League market, making major signings such as Harry Kane, Luis Díaz, and Michael Olise.

However, a move to Manchester United could be the most intriguing, as despite coming through Manchester City’s academy, Palmer has been a United fan since childhood. He had previously stated that he regularly followed Wayne Rooney.

It remains to be seen whether United can afford such a transfer, considering their need for squad rebuilding and the fact that Palmer has a very long-term contract with Chelsea.

He signed a nine-year deal in the summer of 2024, and his current market value is estimated at around £150 million.
