Mbappé Makes History, Becomes the First Player of the 21st Century to Score 400 Goals

Kylian Mbappé has entered the history books as the youngest player of the 21st century to reach 400 career goals, at just 26 years, 10 months, and 3 days old.

Only the legend Pelé has done it faster, achieving the milestone at the age of 23.

The Real Madrid star scored twice against Ukraine in France’s 4-0 victory in the World Cup qualifiers.

With this historic figure, the Frenchman surpassed other football stars such as Lionel Messi, who reached 400 goals at 27 years and 95 days, and Cristiano Ronaldo, who achieved the milestone at 28 years and 335 days.

But for Mbappé, 400 goals are not enough.

“400 goals don’t impress people! I want to leave my mark on football history, so I need to score another 400. There’s one player with around 950 goals and another with around 900. So, 400 goals are not enough!”

Mbappé has scored 27 goals for Monaco, 256 for PSG, 62 for Real Madrid, and 55 for France. With 23 goals already this season in just 20 games, Mbappé is chasing the seemingly impossible dream of Ronaldo’s 1,000 goals.

He admits it is unrealistic, but he intends to try to make it a reality!

At only 26 years old, he has huge ambitions!
