Tuttosport reports that Manchester United are ready to offer €70 million for Italian star Mateo Retegui, while they are also interested in Inter’s Federico Dimarco.
The Italian stars Dimarco and Retegui have attracted the attention of Manchester United.
According to Tuttosport, the Red Devils’ coach, Rúben Amorim, has long been an admirer of Dimarco and already attempted to bring him to Old Trafford in 2024.
On the other hand, Dimarco dreams of finishing his career at Inter — his boyhood club — and the Nerazzurri management are already working on a new contract that would keep him until 2029 or 2030.
Dimarco has scored two goals and provided three assists in six Serie A matches this season, while his current deal at the Meazza runs until June 2027.
Retegui joined Al Qadsiah from Atalanta for €70 million this summer, after becoming Serie A’s top scorer with 25 goals.
According to the report, Manchester United are prepared to offer the same amount for the Italian international next summer.
Retegui has already scored five goals in the first four matches under Italy coach Gennaro Gattuso.
