Lewandowski Rejected Astonishing Offers from Two Saudi Clubs

Lewandowski Turns Down Big-Money Saudi Offers to Stay at Barcelona

Robert Lewandowski has rejected two blockbuster offers from Saudi Pro League clubs this summer, choosing instead to continue his Barcelona journey.

The 37-year-old striker is coming off his best campaign in Spain, scoring 27 La Liga goals and 42 in all competitions during the 2024/25 season. That tally brought him to 101 goals in 147 appearances since joining Barça, narrowly missing out on the European Golden Shoe to Kylian Mbappe.

Despite his prolific form, speculation over Lewandowski’s future has been constant. Reports in August suggested the Poland captain had turned down a staggering €100m-per-season contract to make the switch to Saudi Arabia.

His agent, Pini Zahavi, later confirmed the interest, with 365scoresarabic naming Al Hilal and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr as the clubs who made approaches through an investment fund.

Lewandowski, however, made it clear he had no immediate plans to leave Camp Nou. While Zahavi hinted that 2026 could be a more realistic timeframe for a potential move, the striker’s focus remains firmly on Barcelona and Poland.

Having recently returned to international duty following an injury-hit start to the season, Lewandowski is determined to add more silverware at Barça in what is expected to be his fourth and final season, while also leading Poland’s push for World Cup qualification.
