Harry Kane surpasses Pelé in the match against Albania

In a match that perhaps left Thomas Tuchel with more questions than answers, it was once again Harry Kane who brought certainty.

Always, it seems, Kane is irreplaceable, relentless, and unstoppable.

His 77th and 78th goals for his country were enough to defeat Albania and first equal, then surpass, the number of goals scored by one of the greatest players of all time: a certain Edson Arantes do Nascimento, otherwise known as Pelé.

The Brazilian needed 92 matches to reach his total, while Kane needed 112 to surpass him. But this should not diminish yet another extraordinary achievement from the striker.

And, by the way, that now makes 25 goals in just 18 appearances for club and country this season from the 32-year-old.
