Currently regarded as one of the best strikers in the world, Harry Kane has revealed the three greatest players he has played against in his career.
Without hesitation, he named Lionel Messi, David Beckham, and Cristiano Ronaldo. In a statement for GOAL, the 32-year-old Bayern Munich and England forward emphasized that Beckham was his childhood hero.
“The best players I’ve played against are Messi and Ronaldo,” said Kane. When the GOAL journalist pressed him to pick just one, he simply couldn’t.
“They’re the best of all time for me,” the Englishman added.
“Watching Beckham achieve what he did made it seem a bit more real. Without that, it might have felt like an unreachable or impossible goal, with so many people and talented footballers out there. But it gave me a bit more belief that I could push on and achieve the same thing,” he concluded.
