Haaland publicly accuses three teammates for the defeat against Bodo/Glimt

Manchester City suffered a 3–1 away defeat to Bodo/Glimt on Tuesday night, and Erling Haaland did not hesitate after the match when asked who was responsible for the disappointing result.

In an interview with TNT Sports after the game, Haaland took responsibility for failing to score at least one goal, but also publicly accused three of his teammates for the loss.

“I take full responsibility; I am to blame along with Rodri, Gigi Donnarumma and Tijjani Reijnders. We are experienced players and we need to take more responsibility,” Haaland initially said.

“This was not good enough. We are Manchester City — we cannot fail to win. It should not be like this.”

Haaland then apologized to Manchester City fans for the humiliating defeat.

“It is my responsibility that we are not scoring enough goals. I can only apologize to every Manchester City fan, especially those who came to support us. What we did to them is unacceptable, and I am truly sorry,” the Norwegian concluded.
