French legend blasts Vinicius Jr: “He’s becoming a problem at Real Madrid”
French football legend Emmanuel Petit has launched a scathing attack on Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior, claiming the Brazilian is turning into a serious problem for the club.
Vinicius has drawn criticism for his behavior in recent matches, where he has been seen complaining frequently and showing frustration when substituted.
“Vinicius Junior has been a problem for Madrid ever since he lost the Ballon d’Or to Rodri and when Kylian Mbappe joined the team,” Petit told the media. “He keeps whining: ‘Why always me? Why am I substituted? Why didn’t I win the Ballon d’Or?’ He’s becoming a very serious issue.”
The former France international believes that someone at the club needs to have a frank conversation with the winger to bring him back down to earth.
“If I were in the dressing room with him, I’d tell him straight: ‘Aren’t you happy at Real Madrid, the biggest club in the world? Then go to a smaller club and be the star there.’”
Petit’s comments reflect growing concerns among pundits and fans alike that Vinicius’ attitude could overshadow his talent, especially with Real Madrid entering a new era alongside Mbappe and other emerging stars.
