FIFA’s New Ranking: Brazil Climbs into the Top 5, Portugal and the Netherlands Drop

FIFA has published its latest national team rankings, where the Top 10 has undergone several interesting changes, showing that international football competitions are tighter than ever.

The top of the table remains unchanged: Spain, Argentina, France, and England continue to dominate, demonstrating stability and consistent performances in international matches, writes Gazeta Express.

The most notable movement comes from Brazil, which climbs to 5th place, gaining two positions after recent positive results.

This rise places the “Seleção” in a favorable position for upcoming qualifying matches and major tournaments.

Meanwhile, Portugal and the Netherlands have dropped to 6th and 7th place respectively, losing ground in the race to remain among the world’s top five teams.

Belgium ranks 8th, while Germany and Croatia each climb one position, completing FIFA’s top ten.

In this situation, national teams such as Brazil, Germany, and Croatia appear motivated to strengthen their positions, while teams that have dropped slightly – like Portugal and the Netherlands – will need to respond quickly in order not to lose their advantage.
