n an interview for Gazzetta dello Sport, Gianluigi Donnarumma spoke about his first months at Manchester City, mentioning the strong impact the club has had on him.
The former AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper seems very enthusiastic about the start of his experience at the Etihad Stadium.
“At City I already feel at home, even though not much time has passed since I arrived. They’ve shown me great affection, made me feel important, and now they see me as one of their own,” said the Italian international.
He also expressed his deep admiration for his new coach, Pep Guardiola.
“When you listen to him speak, you can’t help but be impressed. I imagined he was like this, but in reality, he’s even better than I expected,” explained the 26-year-old goalkeeper.
Donnarumma then spoke about his future plans with City.
“I hope to stay in Manchester for as long as possible, to fully experience this truly unique adventure.”
