Chelsea Yet to Decide on Enzo Fernández’s Future

Enzo Fernández has left the door open for a possible departure from Chelsea this summer, following their heavy Champions League Round of 16 elimination by Paris Saint-Germain with an aggregate score of 8–2.

The Argentine midfielder, in an interview with ESPN Argentina on March 17, gave a cautious response when asked about his future.

“I don’t know – for now I’m focused here. We’ll see,” Fernández said.

However, according to reports from the Daily Mail, the London club has yet to make a final decision regarding the player’s future, and it remains unclear whether he is considered untouchable within the squad.

Fernández still has six years left on his contract with Chelsea, giving the club a strong position in any potential negotiations. So far, there have been no concrete offers from major clubs such as Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite the speculation, he remains one of Chelsea’s key players. This season, Fernández has made 45 appearances in all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 6 assists.

His future is expected to be one of the most talked-about topics in the upcoming summer transfer window.
