Callum Turner has spoken openly about his romance with fiancée Dua Lipa, describing the pop star as “the most beautiful woman in the world.”
The 35-year-old actor and the 30-year-old singer began their relationship in January 2024 and confirmed their engagement in June this year.
In an interview with The Times Style, Turner talked about their first meeting and the “rule” they follow to keep their relationship strong despite their busy schedules and the distance between them.
He recalled that their relationship began during a casual gathering for a mutual friend’s birthday, where the pair happened to sit next to each other and discovered they were both reading the same novel, Trust by Hernan Diaz — instantly forming a special connection.
Callum said that both the small and big moments are what make their love special: “I think real love exists in those moments and in its continuity.”
“It can’t just be one grand, all-encompassing thing. It’s all the little and big things together — it’s a union.”
He also revealed the secret to making the relationship work: “Well, FaceTime is a wonderful thing. And the other rule is that it’s never not worth it — that’s our motto. If you can go for two days, just go. And if you’re tired, it doesn’t matter, because you’ll have a great time and a beautiful memory.”
Dua Lipa confirmed the engagement to British Vogue, describing the decision as a special and exciting feeling — to share her life with her partner.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar US, she confessed that she was “intensely in love” with Callum and considers their relationship an inspiring, though sometimes intimidating, experience.
Beyond their relationship, the couple is planning a future together, reportedly looking for a private retreat worth between £3 and £9 million (€3–10 million) in locations such as Marbella or Andalucia — where they can enjoy time with family and friends, away from the media and chaos.
