Barcelona recorded a major 5–3 victory over Real Betis in the 15th round of La Liga, showcasing their strength and maintaining their position at the top of the table.
The match began with a surprise, as Antony put Betis ahead in the 5th minute.
But the Catalans reacted immediately: Ferran Torres scored the equalizer just six minutes later (11’), and two minutes after that he completed the comeback with a fantastic volley (13’).
Roony Bardghji netted Barcelona’s third goal in the 31st minute after an assist from Pedri, while Ferran Torres completed his hat-trick in the 40th minute, once again thanks to a pass from Pedri.
In the second half, Lamine Yamal scored from the penalty spot (59’), extending the lead to 5–1.
Betis managed to recover a bit of the score towards the end of the match, with goals from Diogo Llorente (85’) and Cucho Hernandez (90’), but it wasn’t enough to avoid the 5–3 defeat.
With this victory, Barcelona maintains first place with 40 points, while Betis remains fifth with 24 points.
