The former Real Madrid player said that he does not regret why he chose the Madrid team.
The Welshman, after a sensational career, where he won all possible trophies with ‘Los Blancos’, recently retired from football.
Bale says that Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema were reasons to join Madrid.
“My transfer to Real Madrid? I don’t regret it, I absolutely made the right decision,” said Bale.
“Ronaldo and Benzema? They were a reason why I joined, to play with those two and others behind them like Modric, Alonso and then Toni”.
“The players at Real Madrid were all good. I know that people talk about my relationship with Ronaldo, but I have never had a single problem with anyone. Even in difficult times he was good in the locker room. I really enjoyed my time there,” Bale said.
