Who knows
Come, let us take a shower together
a soapy spirit while the water is warm
let’s wet our soft and sparse hair
and bubble-flowers play through the foam…
Oh, your face shines, hear my sound,
scratch my shoulder, for I feel a tickle,
rainbow bursts have seized the ground,
fingers, vapors, oh God, what a miracle!
Why don’t we take a bath and a shower
like two wise orphans, young and coy,
because jackals have taken our mothers,
stepmothers…have left us without joy…
No one knows which heaven will take us,
and who will wash our bodies one day,
while I smile, kiss me without fuss,
so that I bloom each March and May…
Come, let us take a shower together
a soapy spirit while the water is warm
let’s wet our soft and sparse hair
and bubble-flowers play through the foam…
