Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea is no longer a Manchester United player.
The Spanish “Guardian” after 12 years has ended the adventure at “Old Trafford”.
Through his Instagram account, De Gea said goodbye to the ‘Red Devils’.
“I would like to send this farewell message to all Manchester United fans. I would like to express my unwavering gratitude and appreciation for the love of the past 12 years. We have achieved a lot since Sir Alex Ferguson brought me to this club. I have been extremely proud every time I have worn this shirt, leading the team, representing this institution, the biggest club in the world, it has been an honor given only to a few lucky footballers. It has been an unforgettable and successful time. I did not think that by leaving Madrid as a young man we would have achieved what we have achieved together. Now is the right time to start a new challenge. Manchester will always be in my heart, Manchester has shaped me and it will never leave me. We have seen it all,” De Gea wrote.
The Spanish goalkeeper in Man United played 415 games, while winning 1 Premier League, 1 Europa League, 2 League Cups and 1 FA Cup.
