Reports from Italy claim that Juventus FC is among the clubs interested in a potential free transfer of 37-year-old striker Robert Lewandowski once his contract with FC Barcelona expires at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Lewandowski has spent almost four years at Barcelona after joining the La Liga giants in a €50 million deal from FC Bayern Munich during that summer transfer window.
At that time, he signed a four-year contract which is expected to expire this summer. Although there is reportedly an option to extend the deal for another 12 months, the latest reports from Tuttosport suggest that this option is unlikely to be activated.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus is one of the clubs monitoring Lewandowski’s situation ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window. The Polish legend has also been linked with a possible move to AC Milan at various points during the 2025/26 season, especially after the successful signing of veteran midfielder Luka Modrić.

The report adds that Juventus director Damien Comolli is studying the possibility of a deal and hopes to complete a transfer similar to the one Milan achieved with Modrić, potentially on a two-year contract.
The idea is that, like Modrić, Lewandowski still has the class and ability to make an immediate impact in Serie A despite his age, while his experience would make him a valuable addition to the more experienced players in the club’s dressing room.
The main obstacle for Juventus remains his salary, as Lewandowski currently earns around €13 million per season after taxes under his contract with Barcelona.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus would need to convince Lewandowski to accept a salary reduction in order for the transfer to become possible. ⚽
