Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that Dani Olmo and Robert Lewandowski have returned to the squad for Sunday’s La Liga match against Elche.
A calf injury had sidelined Olmo for Barcelona’s last three games, while Lewandowski had also been out for a similar period due to a hamstring problem.
The return of Olmo and Lewandowski will boost Barcelona’s chances of bouncing back from their El Clasico defeat against Elche on Sunday.

Lewandowski will be looking to rediscover his scoring touch, while Olmo’s technical brilliance in the No.10 role always poses a threat to opponents. Flick also stated that Joan Garcia’s recovery from knee surgery is progressing well, but Barcelona are not planning to rush his return.
“As for Joan, we’re taking it day by day. He’s doing very well and progressing nicely, but we shouldn’t put pressure on him. We’ll see how Lewy and Dani adapt, and then decide what to do,” the German coach said.
