FAIK SKOPECI was born on 5 April 1967 in Përrenjas, Librazhd, Albania. In 1982 – 1986 he attended the “Arif Kuka” Agricultural High School, Karkavec, Librazhd. In 1987 – 1991 he studied at the Military Academy in Tirana. In 1991 – 2013 he served as a military officer in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania.
Painting is his great passion.
He started painting, mainly landscape, in ’97 with the oil technique.
- September 2000 inaugurated the first private exhibition in the city of Laç (Albania)
- October 2000 the exhibition reopens in the Cultural Center of the Armed Forces in Tirana.
- May 2001 solo exhibition at the Military School of Engineers in Izmir, Turkey, with oil paintings made in 7 months of study at this school.
- November 2012 participates in the joint exhibition with the participation of creative military opened at the Cultural Center of the Albanian Armed Forces.
- May 2004 he took part in the preparation of the photographic exhibition “The Engineers near the civilian population”, dedicated to the activity of the engineers in favour of the civilian population.
- January 2006 he prepares a book with a collection of articles on the activity of the Engineer Brigade “The Human Dimension of Engineers”- From 2003 to 2012 he collaborated with the military press where he published informative articles on the activities of the Engineer Brigade and the Support Command.
- From 2003 to 2012 he collaborated with the film sector at the Culture, Media and Defense Publications Center for the creation of documentaries on the activities of the Engineer Brigade and the Support Command.
- Since January 2022 he has been residing in Novara, Italy, where he continues to paint in parallel with his Quatidian work.
- Since November 2023 he has been a member of the BSHASH ASSOCIATION “ZËRI I MËRGIMTARIT” (The Voice of the Immigrant), Novara in Italy.
