According to CNN Portugal, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner rejected an offer of 243 million euros for two years from Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia this summer.
Based on this proposed salary, the player would earn no less than 2.8 million euros per week.
However, the former best player in the world thinks he can still make his contribution in Europe.
