BIAGIO FORTINI was born in Ripalta Cremasca, in the province of Cremona, Italy. His passion for photography has led him to travel to many countries around the world. His works are part of many anthologies and websites in Canada, USA, Spain, Italy, Albania and India and have been finalists in various literary competitions in Italy. He won first prize in the 12th National Contest of Fiction, Poetry and Photography “Out of the Drawer” in 2022 and third prize in the Literary Contest “La Couleur d’un Poème” 2023, in Milan.
In 2020 he published with Amanda Edit publishing house in Romania the book “Mai multe săruturi decât cuvinte” (More kisses than words) with his photographs and poems written by the poet and lyricist Irma Kurti. In 2022, the book “One Day You Will Tell Me”, containing pictures taken by him and poems by Irma Kurti was published by Barbanera Academy Publishing house.
The images of his photographs have become covers of over fifty literary works of poetry and prose published in the United States, Canada, France, Italy, Greece, Albania, Kosovo, Romania, Turkey, Philippines, India, Colombia and Serbia.
Biagio Fortini lives in Bergamo, Italy.
