Britney Spears is celebrating another historic moment in her journey.
According to a recent announcement, the singer’s book “The Woman In Me” has sold over two million copies in the United States. The combined sales figures include hardcover, audiobook, and ebook formats.
“My book has officially sold over 2 million copies in the USA. Thank you to all the fans who have supported me and my story. I love you all,” she said in a statement. The much-anticipated memoir of the pop superstar, released on October 24, 2023, in the USA, broke records within the first week of sales, selling over a million copies. Spears talks about some of the challenges she faced, including the 13-year conservatorship imposed on her in 2008, her relationship with family, and her past partners.
After its release, “The Woman In Me” topped the ‘New York Times bestseller’ list and also became number one in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Around 3 million copies of the book are available worldwide.
Gallery Books also highlights that the audiobook, narrated by Michelle Williams and featuring an introduction spoken by Spears, is the publisher’s best-selling audiobook in history.
